Implemint works with public sector and nonprofit organizations to diagnose what is not working, find the right solutions, implement them well, and build the internal capacity to carry them forward.
Impact at a Glance
"I take a high-level goal and build the strategy, structure, and systems to make it real - then stay to see it through."
- Brittney Stewart, Founder
Why It Matters
Public sector and nonprofit organizations are under more pressure than ever to modernize. But the technology is rarely the problem. It's the planning, the process, and the people.
When implementation goes wrong, the cost is not just financial. It is delayed services, eroded public trust, staff who disengage from future change efforts, and communities left waiting for systems that were supposed to help them.
Getting it right requires someone who understands both the technology and the organization. Someone who is a reliable, professional partner and who delivers high-quality work to ensure these transformations have a sustainable impact.
of government technology modernizations fail outright or disappoint - over budget, behind schedule, or unable to deliver what was promised. (BCG)
of public sector IT projects overrun their schedules, with three times higher cost overruns on average compared to the private sector.
of nonprofit tech budgets goes to training - meaning new systems routinely land on teams that were never resourced to use them. (NTEN and Heller Consulting, 2024)
About Implemint
Implemint was founded by Brittney Stewart, a strategist and program manager with nearly 15 years of experience in program management, organizational effectiveness, and strategic communications across the public and private sectors, domestically and internationally.
Brittney's career spans government, international development, nonprofit, and private sector organizations - from policy analysis at Save the Children International and USAID to program management across three continents. She has worked inside the constraints of mission-driven organizations and understands the resource limitations, legacy systems, and political dynamics that come with the territory.
Implemint works exclusively with public sector and nonprofit organizations. What Brittney brings is the technology leadership, implementation discipline, and execution frameworks she developed across private sector and international contexts - applied in ways that actually work inside government and nonprofits, and that leave organizations stronger than she found them.

How It Works
Most consultants hand you a report and leave. Implemint engages from problem definition all the way through handoff - with change management woven throughout, not added at the end.
We start by understanding the real problem - not just the symptom. Stakeholder interviews, workflow analysis, and organizational assessment to surface what is actually getting in the way.
We build the strategy - translating organizational priorities into clear goals, activities, and success metrics. This is the foundation everything else is built on.
We map existing workflows, identify gaps, and develop business requirements and use cases that give your organization the clarity it needs to evaluate and select the right solutions.
We support technology procurement with requirements-driven scorecards and structured assessments - so decisions are made on fit and value, not on the best sales pitch.
We drive configuration and deployment from kickoff through completion - managing the project, coordinating stakeholders, and keeping the work on time and on scope.
We build for sustainability from day one. Documentation, training, and knowledge transfer ensure the organization owns what was built and can maintain it without us.
Services
Implemint engages across the full transformation lifecycle. Depending on where your organization is, we can enter at any stage.
We help organizations get clear on where they are going - translating mission and priorities into goals, activities, and accountability structures that teams can actually execute against.
We assess current-state workflows, systems, and organizational capacity to identify gaps and opportunities - giving leadership an honest picture before any solution is proposed.
We develop business requirements, use cases, and evaluation frameworks that help organizations identify and vet technology vendors with confidence - not guesswork.
We manage technology implementation from configuration through deployment - coordinating vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders to keep projects on track and on scope.
Change management is not a phase - it runs through everything we do. We build adoption into the implementation from the start so technology actually gets used.
Successful AI starts with trustworthy data. We help organizations build the governance frameworks, privacy and security policies, data standards, and staff capacity that make AI adoption possible and sustainable.
We help organizations define what success looks like, build the measurement frameworks to track it, and put the reporting systems in place that keep leadership accountable to their commitments.
We manage complex, multi-stakeholder programs end to end - planning, budget oversight, risk management, stakeholder coordination, and reporting so nothing falls through the cracks.
Selected Work
A sample of engagements and what they produced.
